Experienced renovators but first-time clients of an interior designer, these homeowners came to us to transform their Grimsby bungalow into a forever home for their retirement years. The goal was to improve how the home functioned while creating an organic modern interior with warmth, sophistication and a touch of whimsy.

We reimagined the main-floor layout to make better use of the available space, creating a generous walk-in pantry and a conveniently located laundry room near the primary suite. Herringbone wood floors, natural stone, custom millwork and soft architectural curves bring warmth and character, while playful wallpapers add personality.

With two dogs and everyday living in mind, durable custom furnishings and finishes were layered with cherished heirlooms and artwork. The result is a highly personal home that balances beauty and practicality, designed to be lived in and enjoyed for years to come.
