Nestled into the Dundas escarpment, this distinctive Swiss-inspired mid-century home had incredible character, but its disconnected layout no longer supported the way our clients wanted to live. Our challenge was to improve the function of the entire home while respecting the architecture that made it special.

For this extensive whole-home renovation, we reimagined the floor plan and designed a new kitchen and four bathrooms. On the upper level, small, disconnected rooms became a spacious primary suite with a walk-in closet, adjacent laundry and an open library overlooking the floor below. An underused basement storage area was also transformed into a dedicated wellness room for meditation and movement.

Natural stone, wood beams and custom furnishings bring warmth and character, while original terrazzo flooring and the fireplace were preserved. The result is a highly personal home that feels connected to its architecture, natural surroundings and our clients' love of travel.
